Rewriting a PDF can invalidate signatures. Merging may not retain document-level features. Repacking and merging allow 300 pages total; rendering allows 60 pages, 16 megapixels per page, and 150 MB of image data.
Each page becomes a picture
Rendering converts the appearance of a PDF page into pixels. Text is no longer selectable in a JPG, and links or form fields are not interactive. Keep the PDF when readers need document features.
The ZIP contains page-001.jpg, page-002.jpg, and subsequent pages in numerical order, each on a white background. Extract it before uploading an individual JPG to another service.
Resolution versus bytes
At scale 1, a standard PDF point maps to one output pixel. Scale 2 doubles both dimensions and produces four times as many pixels. Higher settings improve small-text readability but use more memory.
The tool caps rendering at 60 pages and 16 million pixels per page. Split unusually large documents in an appropriate desktop editor first.
When an image is the right output
A JPG is convenient for a quick page preview or an image-only submission form. It is a poor substitute for an accessible report, signed record, or searchable archive.
Processing limits and reset
Choose one unencrypted PDF up to 50 MB and 60 pages. Each rendered page must fit within 16 megapixels. Accumulated JPG data is limited to 150 MB before ZIP packaging; lower scale or quality if needed.
Processing stays in browser memory, with no file uploads or server temporary files. Reset cancels the operation and releases application references; downloaded copies remain. Device memory can impose a lower practical limit than the stated caps.
